I AM

Hello, my name is Jaclyn Christy. My story begins after 22 years of academic study and a writing degree. I took a summer off to work on an organic farm. Despite my education, I did not know how to grow food, which seemed like a basic human skillset.

I didn’t expect to fall in love with the earth, but her transformative healing capacity captured my devotion. A few years later while working in the garden, I received a message to learn how to move energy. What can I say, sometimes having your hands in the earth is like being plugged into a cosmic socket.

I heeded the call and took a deep dive into somatic and spiritual technologies from bodywork, to yoga, indigenous ceremony, herbalism, nutrition, and Aryuveda. For nearly 20 years I followed my heart’s interests, studying, growing gardens, and nourishing groups interested in health and healing across the country. These days I primarily teach yoga and educate individuals on the healing power of whole foods and Aryuveda.

My travels inspired me to live more intentionally and intimately with the earth, ultimately leading me to set roots in a rural mountain village of New Mexico aside my husband and partner in love. Together we are restoring a turn of the century adobe homestead into an abode of peace and plenty.
