Real food is grown in harmony with the sun, rain, pollinators, and a legion of microbial allies. It carries love and life force. Join us in greening the desert while building food sovereignty.

How it Works

It’s simple. Sign up to our mailing list to receive a weekly availability menu during the harvest season. Choose what you like, email back your order and we will custom harvest for you. Orders are picked up at the garden in La Madera.

Our Practices

We are located in the mountains of Northern, New Mexico at 6,500 ft. Our water is sourced from a traditional open-water Acequia system and fed by way of mountain snowmelt.  Although not formally certified organic, we practice regenerative farming techniques including cover cropping, crop rotation, compost generation, and biodynamic planting. We refrain from all chemical applications and genetically modified organisms. We are passionate about food and grow many heirloom crops as well as new culinary varietals each season.

Our Why

We believe that we all need access to vital nutrition. So many of our rural communities have become food deserts with little to no access to living food. More than ever we need options that sustain our soils and water systems, as well as our bodies. Food was once an integral part of culture. The relationship between person, plant, animal, and land wove us together inextricably. While that fabric is largely eroded today, it is our intention to lend a stitch to this patchwork existence one harvest at a time.

high altitiude flowers

Grown in a mountain river valley of the high desert, we offer local heirloom blooms for pollinators, beauty enthusiasts, and designers alike.

Unlike the majority of the floral industry, we practice regenerative farming techniques and refrain from chemical applications not only to benefit our pollinator community, but to keep our waters safe and soils healthy. Featuring tried and true annual classics, we keep it fresh with an evolving perennial garden, and the seasonal quest for inspired blooms in sought after varieties and colors.

Beauty doesn’t need to come at a cost
